Biometric technologies use unique physical or behavioral characteristics for high confidence human authentication. Every human iris is unique, and with that feature its possible to build a high safe authentication system.

Compared with other biometrics, iris recognition is the most accurate, fastest and scalable option. Also, the iris patterns are also very stable.

The goal is to build an alternative iris recognition system using non-usual methods and techniques. This system requires subject cooperation when interact with the iris camera.

This is a partnership project between our laboratory and a national company.
